Thank you for visiting the Glasgow 2014 tendering site where you can respond to opportunities for the XX Commonwealth Games.

The largest international multi-sport event ever to be hosted in Scotland, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games is set to be a pivotal cultural event for a whole generation of Scots, and a major economic boost to the city.

Delivering an event on this scale requires the sourcing of a vast range of goods and services, and it all begins a long way before the opening ceremony. The Organising Committee is already busy sourcing the requirements for the Games, and the list is much broader than you might imagine. Everything from javelins to joinery, medical supplies to musicians, and catering to costumes; in fact, almost every kind of product and service you can think of goes into making the Games.

Our task is to deliver an outstanding Games, to showcase Glasgow and Scotland on the world stage, and to bring about genuine and lasting positive change benefits for the people of this great city and the wider Scottish community.
